ZnS Polycrystals Window

Zinc Sulfide (ZnS) is an infrared transmitting material with homogeneity of refractive index. It has excellent performance in image transmission between 8-12μm and has high transmission performance in the infrared band. But absorption and dispersion will enhance when the wavelength gets short. The Zinc Sulfide Delfa use is a sort of inert material which is insoluble in water. Due to its high purity, moderate density, and easy to be processed, Zinc Sulfide is widely used in infrared windows, domes, and other infrared components.


OST Photonics offers ZnS windows made from FLIR grade ZnS and water-clear grade ZnS. Various customized shapes and dual-surface anti-reflective coatings are available.
