LaBr3(Ce) Scintillators

LaBr3(Ce) lanthanum bromide crystal has excellent scintillation performance under gamma-ray or X-ray excitation, including high light output, perfect energy resolution, good energy linearity, short scintillation decay time and other advantages. LaBr3(Ce) crystal has higher light output and better energy resolution than NaI(Tl) crystal, it is widely used in environmental monitoring, oil logging, nuclear medicine, high energy physics, safety inspection, nuclide identification and other dual-use radiation detection fields.


OST Photonics offers encapsulated LaBr3(Ce) scintillator, high temperature encapsulated LaBr3(Ce) scintillator, pixellated LaBr3(Ce) array, LaBr3(Ce) scintillation detector upon customer's requirements. LaBr3(Ce) detector assemblies integrated with SiPM are also available if required.
