OST Photonics LuAG(Pr) Scintillators

LuAG(Pr) praseodymium doped lutetium aluminium garnet is a fast scintillation crystal with a decay time of 22ns. Based on the excellent scintillation performance of LuAG(Pr), it is ideal for TOF-PET and fast particle imaging. In addition, LuAG(Pr) has excellent thermal properties, which can be used in well exploration.

Scintillation Screen Design Options of LuAG(Pr) Scintillators (LuAG:Pr Scintillators)


  • Freestanding ultra-thin scintillation screen.

  • Ultra-thin scintillation screens can be coupled to a substrate with optical adhesives in order to achieve better optical readout.

  • Scintillation screens can be inserted into frames(Aluminum, Stainless steel) for easier manipulation.

  • We can provide customized markings such as a grid, cross, or scale on the surface of the screen for easier beam visualization.

  • We can provide various coating on the surface of the screen upon request, such as reflection coatings(Al, Au, Ag etc.), AR coating, diffusion painting(TiO2, Al2O3), and conductive coatings(Al, ITO, C).
