SP102 plastic scintillators are specially designed for beta-ray measurement, the thickness are generally between 0.25 ~ 1mm, so that gamma-rays can pass through it. The material composition of this scintillator is the same as that of SP101, but the concentration ratio of luminescent materials is different to some extent. SP102 plastic scintillator is made of styrene monomer by thermal polymerization process, it has the advantages of high detection efficiency, good uniformity, no deformation and so on.
