OST Photonics LaBr3(Ce) Array

LaBr3(Ce) lanthanum bromide crystal has excellent scintillation performance under gamma-ray or X-ray excitation, including high light output, perfect energy resolution, good energy linearity, short scintillation decay time and other advantages. LaBr3(Ce) crystal has higher light output and better energy resolution than NaI(Tl) crystal, it is widely used in environmental monitoring, oil logging, nuclear medicine, high energy physics, safety inspection, nuclide identification and other dual-use radiation detection fields.


OST Photonics is able to supply LaBr3(Ce) 2-D arrays according to our customers' different design options in terms of pixel size, the number of pixels and reflector materials. Our manufacturing process can ensure high light output as well as excellent pixel to pixel uniformity with minimal crosstalk. In addition, we can also supply dual layer output LaBr3(Ce) arrays for some special applications.
